The Little Village People is a small independently run pop-up role play village based in South Devon. The village set ups have been created to inspire imaginations and immerse children and families in play. Nikita (the creator of TLVP) is passionate about giving each child that attends The Little Village an opportunity to use their imaginations and take up characters and act out real life roles.
Learning through play is an essential aspect of a child's development. Play plays a key role in fostering various skills and abilities, such as cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. When children engage in play, they naturally explore, experiment, and problem-solve, which enhances their critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Pop-up sessions are a fantastic way to engage children and families in the world of Play. These sessions, held at local venues during weekends and half term breaks, offer a range of exciting activities and experiences.
Celebrate your special day with a one-of-a-kind birthday party experience! Have a party with a pop with exclusive role Play hire, we offer an unforgettable celebration filled with fun and excitement.
During school visits, we are always delighted to witness the power of educational play in action. We can design The Little Village to run alongside the 'people who help us' topic for EYFS.
Family and children events in the context of play are a wonderful way to bring joy and laughter to everyone involved. Whether it's a community fair a special milestone event or a showcase we can help to add something a little different.
Childminder only sessions are a wonderful opportunity for childminders to engage with children in a playful and interactive environment. These sessions provide a dedicated space for childminders to connect with other professionals, share ideas, and learn from each other's experiences.
